This beautiful Kingman Turquoise Pendant is created by Rosita Singer, Navajo. Rosita (Rose) was married for almost 40 years to world renowned silversmith Tommy Singer, Navajo. Tommy worked for years with his family creating beautiful jewelry in silver and gold. His work is coveted throughout the world by collectors. Since his passing in 2014, Tommy's wife, Rosita, has continued his legacy. The design of this pendant is outstanding. It depicts traditional Native American designs that include the water and sun symbols and rain drops. It is also accented with gold craft giving this great piece a unique look. The Kingman Turquoise stone measures 7/8” tall by ½” wide and is set in a scalloped bezel. The pendant measures 3-3/8” tall by 1-3/4” wide. We have included a complimentary 20” black leather necklace is included (adjustable from 17” to 20”). The bale will accept a chain or beads up to 5/8” in diameter. The pendant weighs 20.3 grams or .715 ounces.
Tommy was born in 1940 and passed away May 31, 2014. He was from Winslow, Arizona where he lived with his wife Rose and their children and grandchildren. Tommy was a regarded silversmith and is known throughout the world for his jewelry work. His overlay pieces incorporate the most traditional of Navajo design – designs that have endured for years and years. Many of these designs are of Navajo rugs and other traditional designs.
