This incredible piece is designed and created by master artist Dale Duby. Dale uses the techniques of grinding, abrading, percussion and pressure flaking to produce the obsidian blades. The blades are attached with sinew. This wonderful piece has a wolf scrimshawed into the buffalo rib handle. The scrimshaw is done by Michelle Severe who works with Dale. The knife is 8-1/4” long. The flintknapped Electric Blue Obsidian blade is 3-5/8” long and 1-1/8” wide. The stand is made of Juniper and has a piece of antler that the knife rests on. The stand measures 5” wide and 8” long. The height with the knife is 6” tall. Each knife that Dale creates is one-of-a-kind and individually handcrafted from stone, antler, or bone. This will make a great addition to any collection.
