The sterling silver pendant and earrings are designed and handmade by Jefferson James Jr., Navajo. Although these two artists did not work together on these pieces we felt they complimented each other phenomenally. The 3 strand Spiny Oyster Shell necklace is complimented with sterling silver beads and finished with sterling silver cones and clasp. It is 20” long (22 7/8” long with pendant). The sterling silver pendant is 2 7/8” L x 1 1/8” W with the bale. Turquoise, Coral, and Serpentine are inlaid in the pendant that makes a Navajo story. The pendant also depicts mountains, lightening, horse, sheep, Navajo woman and man. These depictions are cut out of the silver. It is truly an exquisite piece. The bale is finished with hand stamp work. The pendant can be worn separately from the 5 strand Spiny Oyster Shell necklace. This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece. Signed by the artists.
