“Wide Ruins Pattern” Rug by Mary Louise Gaddy, Navajo. This rug is 100% wool and has great detail. Rugs from the Wide Ruins area copy the design and coloring of the Chinle rugs however they tend to be more intricate by utilizing more colors. The design feature of alternating weft colors (one shoot of a color alternating with one shoot of another) which create horizontal bands resembling railroad tracks make these rugs unique.
