Tommy was born in 1940 and passed away May 31, 2014. He was from Winslow, Arizona where he lived with his wife Rose and their children and grandchildren. Tommy was a regarded silversmith and is known throughout the world for his jewelry work. His overlay pieces incorporate the most traditional of Navajo design – designs that have endured for years and years. Many of these designs are of Navajo rugs and other traditional designs.
The design of this pendant is outstanding. It is a Buffalo and then depicts a 12ktGF Buffalo. Rosita has accented this pendant with a Kingman Turquoise stone that measures ½” tall by 3/8” wide. The pendant measures 2-3/8” tall by 2” wide (including the bale). The bale will accept beads or chain up to 5/8” in diameter. We have included a complimentary 20” black leather necklace is included (adjustable from 17” to 20”). The buffalo is believed to bring endurance to overcome and is a great emotional courage provider to all.
